For some reason when we were practicing with our robot, the motor that powers our lift stopped working. We only replaced a faulty motor on one of our tires. We have tried to swap motors, but we ran out of time to do anything else. We are planning to try and fix it tomorrow, so any tips before tomorrow morning would be helpful.
im not a viq builder ( I am in vex v5) but it could be friction so test every individual part lifting your robot including the chain
If it happens again, feel the motor. If it is hot, its probably burnt out/overloaded. Youd just need to replace it.
Adding on, if it isn’t easy to replace, just wait for it to cool down.
