I connect the V5 brain to my computer through a USB-A cable, when I first connect the cable, my computer flashes the brain as a connectable device for maybe a few tenths of a second before leaving the “connectable devices” space blank. I have tried with different brains, cables, and usb ports on my computer, yet each time the result is always the same, I have never had any issue connecting any other USB device to my school issued chromebook, only the vex brains. I use the codev5.vex.com, I don’t have access to Vexcode pro V5. Any help is much appreciated, thanks. Also, it’s important to note none of my classmates have similar problems
Have you unplugged the brain and tried again?
If there is still a problem then you may need to reset the brain.
yeah, I have tried power cycling the brain, It still isn’t working, I’m trying using a school desktop instead now.

When you have the USB connected, click on the brain icon at the top. Once there, it will ask you to confirm the connection to the USB cable, click it, and choose any of the options it gives you.
