Every time I open certain threads (i.e.example) I’m greeted by 6 overlapping alerts just saying ‘429 HTTP/2.0 429’ (too many requests). It’s functionally indifferent after I close all of the alerts, but it’s least to say an error.
Can you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Also what OS & Browser (+versions)?
It’s macOS Sierra using plain safari. This isn’t my own personal computer so I have no idea what kind of restrictions it has on it, but I would think that since it’s displayed as an error by the website that isn’t the issue.
I’m seeing an error, too. i have to refresh the page to get back to the home screen. The forum I’m trying to access is @Connor ‘s subsystem poll, if that makes any difference. It might be with the number of polls on the page, but I just accessed it earlier to fill it out.
The HTTP ‘429 Too Many Requests’ response code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time (“rate limiting”).
Usually dependent on the hosting & nginx setup?
This looks to be a known issue in Discourse. I’ll keep an eye on the reported issue:
Here are the errors from console:

This issue was fixed today in Discourse, FYI.
Upgraded, and you shouldn’t get it on those large poll threads anymore.
