I just noticed that the 4-pack of 4" mecanum wheels for the V5 platform have been discontinued; not sure how long ago this happened. But, it does beg the question from me and possibly other mecanum enthusiasts (if they even exist): does this mean we will be receiving a new and improved version of the 4" mecanum wheels? Mecanum wheels V2 perhaps? Anti-static mecanum wheels even?

Legend has it that they may be releasing a new, better alternative to mecanums: Omni Wheel X Drive Wheels.

Any suggestions if the PRO 4" are useful for prototyping? They don’t show as VRC legal, but would they be close enough to the “rumored” version?
