yes, technically there is an off season. it lasts a couple of hours. plenty of time if you ask me.

My team didn’t want to go to virtual worlds, but we are going to a showcase event on the 15th. That gives us a whole week off!

God, my first year, my team of one hundred percent new people at our first competition ever, had to scramble to fix our robot because our crappy claw mechanism wasn’t fully put on. And so at the competition, we (because we were pressed for time) zip-tied instead of screwing in stuff. Wish I had a picture, but it was hilarious. This was in middle school and all the other schools knew us as “The Zip-Tie Team”
