Hello i am getting starting programing in C++ and am going head first into PROS i am having a good time learning. However i am wondering how to make good, safe, and fast code. Any tips? Don’t worry about if you fell it is to complex i have learned much and can learn more fine.

In all seriousness, running bare metal C++ on the Arm Cortex-A9 inside the V5 Brain, you will probably not run into any performance problems unless you are deep into an inefficient Monte-Carlo simulation. For “good” and “safe” code, it might be good to read some sort of book on C++ in general, not just VEX, because I guarantee you books written by professional programmers will teach you “better” paradigms and patterns than random PROS YouTube tutorials. (I quote “better” because often “good” is subjective. Let’s just say I dislike Allman style braces.)
Good luck!
Take this advice with a grain of salt because I don’t write C++ very well, personally.
