Hello, I am a programmer from 1032Z. I know that it is very late in the season but I am just now having time to program for Autonomous. In driving we have to start by touching the parking zone, and cannot park until the last 20 seconds, I was wondering if that was the same for Autonomous. I was also wondering, if I am touching the red parking zone does that mean that I can only park in the red parking zone and only pick up the red blocks, or can I also park in the blue parking zone and pick up the blue blocks. A recent rule change made it so your starting position has to break the plane of the park zone, touching it is not a requirement.

In skills you can park whenever you want, and it has to be in park zone you started next to.

For head to head, park zones are protected in the last 20 seconds, you also have to park in your own parking zone. Additionally during the 15 second autonomous, if you are still breaking the plane of the park zone, you cannot get the auto win point.
This is a confusing way to present the skills rules. For clarity, skills is played as red, and only red parks are scored.
Your statement is technically correct - you can park in blue if you want, but for no points; to get points you have to park in the zone you start from, which must be red.
