I have three favorite quoutes this season:
Two from the same interview:
Armand: “Hi, My name is Quinn.”(Quinn has just introduced himself and he just repeated him)
Rafael later in the interview: “We have 3 c channels on our base. 1… 2… 3…”(as he slowly points them out)
My own quote from US OPEN: “Our autons are finally consistent… consistently bad but consistent.”
Edit: One more from that interview from the main judge when we asked about what we could improve in our notebook: “I dont know, Im just an art teacher”
is 4th ranked before elims, asking for alliances:
us: “hey, would you consider an alliance with us?”
their captain: “sure, but uh… we dropped our robot.”
us: “how bad is it?”
their captain: “not too bad”
some random guy in the back of their team hunched over their robot: “dude its a #$%@% piece of non-functional decoration at this point.”
us: “can we help you fix it?”
their captain: “probably, got any straight shafts?”
random guy: “got any straight brains?”
us: “well if there’s anything we can do to help…”
their captain: “no, I think we’ll just have to call it for today”
random guy: “you should pick us anyway, it’ll be a distraction strategy”
Is 1st ranked team after quals at state.
Also is a cap bot.
Asks teams 2-6 about being an alliance beforehand.
Gets turned down by teams 2-5, but accepted by team 6 (thanks 9364D)
Goes through alliance selection asking every team that turned us down to prevent them from making alliances.
Forgets to ask rank 4.
Qualifies for worlds, but rank 2 and 4 are the tournament champions. 
Lol asking all the teams is the best strategy imo.

Glad you noticed that. I was a little disappointed that nobody wanted to ally, but to their defense, we are a cap bot.
Not to sound critical or rude but how did you get seed 1 as a cap bot? I only saw 2 cap bots in FL this season and they did very poorly.
@Gameoa had a really good cap robot, (based on 1814d but that’s beside the point). Their team lost only one qual match and got to semifinals in elims, as well as prevented about 5 potential alliances. Cap robots can be competitive (if they’re good)
Our cap bot did fine in the tournament, but the case could be made that we were lucky in quals matchmaking. We still held our own though.
Thats awesome. Will you be competing with it at worlds?
yes and hopefully it will be better than it was at states (Be prepared to be let down though
