A pneumatic claw that allows rotation similar to that of a human wrist. This is my first time working with pneumatics so if something is obviously wrong let me know.
Nothing necessarily wrong, but you could save yourself a port on the cortex by connecting both air cylinders to the same solenoid using t-fittings. (This assumes that you want the cylinders to operate simultaneously).
Well things just instantly look much cooler when you use pneumatics. Nice.
There’s one common trick you can use. The VEX claw already have pretty strong springs in them that keep them closed. If that spring grip strength is enough, you can convert your double acting cylinders into single acting cylinders. Common tricks used by experienced VEX competitors, so you don’t have to actually spend money on those single acting cylinders and solenoid to achieve even more flexible designs.

If you could, I would recommend putting a support on the other side of the gear to prevent stripping.
