we are using pneumatics to implement a PTO. When the drive program is turned on, the airpump is constantly running and it never turns off.
Isnt the pump supposed to turn off once the cylinder is filled up?
we have kept it running for 10mins+ and still it doesnt turn off.
Is there something wrong with our tubing or component?

If you want the pump to turn off then you have to do that in your program.
whether the pump is on or off is controlled by the program that the brain is running. in the motion section in vexcode, there is a block that turns the pump on or off.
One way to handle this is to have a timer and turns off the pump. Anytime you press a button to trigger the pneumatics, clear/reset the timer.
You can program it to stop. Thers a turn pump on and off function built in.
