I’ve heard that on a cortex when you are using motors that lift heavy loads, you have to plug them in far away from each other or something like that. Is this the case for V5’s?
I saw something that jpearman said about it, I think it was that it shouldnt be an issue.
There is a hypothesis about using different quadrants to avoid esd, but this is mostly just speculative and has no formal testing

There are no PTCs on the V5.
Each smart port is protected by its own eFuse that will trip if, for example, the port power is accidentally shorted, but each port can supply more current than a motor will use.
