Looking for ideas to descore blocks.
Long pneumatic actuator. Activate it to shove blocks quickly.
Pyro air cannon. I’m going to leave it as that

I would say the best idea is to use a piston to force the balls back, but it could be limited by expansion limits and also could block the path for the balls to get intaked into the goals. Or you could use a air cannon.
Being honest, the manual’s prolly going to forbid most of these responses sadly, best option might just be adding more balls until you the conditions please.
And also, where is the license plates ahem… VEX…?
Sadly, this won’t work as effectively as you want it to. Even if the whole 18 inch diagonals were just a mistype or worded wrong, then the arm could only expand 4 inches. This means you would only be able to descore one block, assuming the goal is completely filled. The expansion rules are lame this season, but I guess besides descoring there is no truly viable reason to expand more than 4 inches.
For descore, I was thinking an arm that reaches over the goal and is inserted into the open parts of long goals and the middle goals. It would be like yours, but go over and into the goal, so we could just drive with the pole in there to remove blocks. The only true downside to this is it’s inability to reach the middle parts of the long goals and affect the bonus.
Also, they do have license plates.

Yeah I was thinking the same type of thing for descoring. I’m thinking we could mount it to come off the side of our robot with a piston to activate the arm to flip up allowing for descore.
Does anyone have any photos of their descore arm?
Our arm is not the greatest as it gets stuck on the goal which will get hooking calls.
But I can’t raise it higher up on my bot or it will be out of size.
