Our state has recently leaned towards the RECF side of robotics competitions. However, our private team would like to stick with Vex. Realistically speaking, there likely won’t be any Vex IQ competitions in our state. So, our plan was to attend a signature event / local event in a neighboring state and get a skills score. Then, before the world championship, if our state received spots, (and if we don’t have an ERC), we would qualify via skills scores like Hawaii teams did in the Mix and Match season. This is where my question comes in.
Would our state still receive Worlds spots, even if majority is RECF? And if so, then would we qualify as I stated above?
