Robot design critique needed

I’m new to vex V5 and before we start practices this summer I am looking for critique on the robot design I have drafted for vrc over under. The specs are:

4 motor drive (6 wheels to get over barrier)
2 motor conveyor belt intake
2 motor cata/elevation mech

One of my big questions is what should my target rpm be for the drivetrain. I don’t need it to be very fast but I definitely don’t want to have motors burning out on me.

If it would help, I can upload pictures of my “blueprints” but I’m mostly just looking for advice from more experienced engineers. Thank you in advance!

Maybe test it out and find what works best for you…

This will help you with that.

Another thing I consider is you to CAD absolutely EVERYTHING. It might sound like a pain, but it saves you from having to eyeball everything, which means you have a very small chance of messing anything up. Onshape is a very good software for this, as you can pretty much run it on any computer newer than 2017 with no problem, (i have a 2015 macbook pro and it is a bit choppy, but it does the job) and it has a library of almost all of the vex v5 parts in existence.

I won’t be able to do that till August our coach wants us to gain experience by building and using the herobot till the school year starts

Ok, I’ll try to use onshape that’s a good idea
