HI
I just installed RobotC virtual worlds, 4.56 release, I want to explore using a virtual robot but in the robot menu in the “Compiler Target” I just see the option of Physical robot. I saw previous releases had the “Virtual worlds” option but I don’t see it.
I’ve tried to set the menu level to “Expert” or “Super user” and the only other option I get is the “PC Emulator” but not the virtual worlds.
Has this been deprecated?
Thanks
Do you have a RobotC virtual worlds license ?

I don’t, but I downloaded the trial version, is virtual worlds not usable in trial?
ok, so you need to start the trial.
go to “Manage Licenses”
click add license
select RVW for VEX
click start trial

Now you should be able to select virtual worlds

Bear in mind the last build of RobotC was 6 years ago and this product is not being developed anymore.

THank you so much James, i see it now!
And thanks for the note on RobotC no longer being developed, I agree its better to move to another platform but wanted to test some code for a use case I found
Regards,
One more question James,
Im opening the RVW Level Builder, but in these or others it seems you have pre-defined VEX Robots, I’m tryng to simulate the use of an IR Sensor and none of the pre-configured virtual robots have any, is there a way to change this or create your own virtual robot with specific sensors?
So, although I was a RobotC developer for a period of time, it has probably been 5 years since I really used the program. I honestly don’t remember.
@raj or @jpalnick do either of you remember ?
