At one of my competitions, someone stated the bot cannot cross the plane of the goal net during ANY autonomous period, 15 second or skills. This meaning if you crossed above or below the line where the inside of the net is, you would face a DQ or a penalty. Is this rule a real thing, or did they make it up?
If you go under your opponent goals net than you do get a penalty. They have gotten more strict about on it more than at the beginning of the year, but it is a rule.
Go into the rulebook and search for it.
This is correct for matches in which you go under your opponent’s goal unless they are double zoned–yes you will get a penalty, however in skills you may break the plane of either goal because there is no opponent, even though you play as the red alliance.
