I have suggested we need a new top level category - perhaps VEXforum Community, for chit chat/ rumors, and actually a lot of other good sub topics, such as service/outreach shouts would be nice… maybe something for HS / MS concerns…

@Dom2011C , your error in your logic is in reductionism. This thread is in the Chit-Chat / Rumor Mill, which can deal with discussion about robotics or the forum itself.

Because it deals with DRow, which is relevant because it is within the forum itself and doesn’t have to be related to “V5 Parts”, which was poor phrasing in the Flagging thread. (tbh I hate this thread also, because I think it’s pointless, but it’s technically fine)

But yeah, @lacsap 's plan is one I agree with, that way there is no confusion at all when it comes to this. And I can block that channel easily without having to worry that much about blocking actual Chit-Chat about VEX.

Also, what happened with to us generally agreeing to this post? Ethics of VEXForum - How We should Act I thought it was pretty good in summing up what the VEX Forums should be.

EDIT: Thanks DRow for changing the channel categories so Chit-Chat isn’t related to VEX now. I think that’s good enough for now.
