Score for red rings under blue rings in skills

Hello,
Our team was wondering if we scored a red ring on a stake in skills, then scored a blue ring on top (when not all the red rings have been used up) would the red ring be counted as a top ring or bottom ring? We know the blue top ring would have no point value but would it be as if the blue ring wasn’t there (so the red ring would be the top ring)?

That’s covered by RSC6:

<RSC6> If any Ring is Scored on a Stake but does not have a point value based on rule <RSC4> or <RSC5>, no Ring on that Stake will earn points as a Top Ring.

So, the red ring is still scored, but it’s not a top ring, so only worth 1 point.

Download the Vex HUB app on mobile. It is what the competitions use to calculate scoring.

mostly - Tournaments typically use TM Mobile for official scoring. VRC Hub is a good tool for everyone.
