Our team generally makes a t-shirt every season based off the game, and we also make jerseys for our scholars. Here’s a couple of ours. I’d love to see what your team does!
To start off, here’s our current team jersey! Each scholar will receive one with their last name on the back. We wanted to give them something more special and let them stand out from everyone, much like traditional sports have their jerseys. I have a friend local to me (Indianapolis) that does the design work.
For the 2022-23 season, I wanted to try something “different”. We had our season shirt but then we made new shirts for the teams that made it to State and Worlds, and had our designer add in the skyline of Indianapolis/Dallas-Fort Worth (respectively) as well as using the different colors of the loaders. The shirt color was determined based off what the kids deemed easy → hard for getting the pucks, representing how hard it is to get from the start of the season to the World Championship!
I’m not much of a designer but I was able to take the CAD files of the game pieces and turn them into 2D images to make this shirt design, and then used the pin colors for the shirts. Colors were randomly assigned to the scholars
yes i got muted for a week we dont talk about that hELLO i’m making shirts for my team this year and i’ve got kind of a rough design. i have approval from the rest of the group on the base look but i want more opinions!!! tell me if it is bad please
Your local EP is the one to make the call as to what your Referee team will wear - running 11 events this season with a strong group of key volunteers from other venues, it made sense to go big. (I am not sure where you are located.)
We went with a clean look using our team colors and added robot sketches in the background. Sponsor logos went on the back near the bottom so they didn’t distract up front.
