Slip gear using VexIq

Is there any tutorial on how to mimic a slip gear functionality using existing VexIQ parts, without using any rubber bands?

Here’s a video I took of a team I had a few years ago.

Basically it’s kind of the same concept we saw from a youtube video in the past from an IQ team during bankshot.

I am unable to understand how this is built using the video. is there a bit more detail on the build?

Back during my IQ days, I built puncher mechanisms for the game slapshot, and other devices that emulate slipgears for pitching in. However, since you cannot actually shave gears in IQ, there is no way to make a slipgear, rather you have to use pronged rotationally symmetrical builds, or catapult mechanisms like the choo-choo.

Actually, there is a known iteration of a slip gear in IQ. It is very dominate in regions like Asai and sites like Billibilli. However, to many in the USA this iteration is far less common and often goes unknown. It is similar to this video of a puncher by Helen Lol during slapshot, however it is altered to fit the needs of a catapult.

Basically the 36 tooth gear is sandwiched in a way so that there’s one gear hitting it on each side of the rotation. I don’t have any pictures of it and that video is the only one I have.
