I was looking at using the smart field controller without running Tournament Manager for a version of Swept Away that I have adapted that has a 30 second autonomous and 1:30 driver controller period. I thought this would be possible because the timing is the same as the VEX U timing. When I go into the settings after running FC Match program, it only provides options for 0:15/1:45 or 0:45/1:15, which was the old VEX U timing. Is this just something overlooked in the program because events all run through TM?
It would be really nice to be able to use the field controller with different auto/driver timings without always setting up a classroom tournament in TM. I can understand that classroom competitions are less of a focus for this hardware/software but it would be a nice feature. In a dream world within Tournament Manager, there would be a basic classroom competition option that you can simply enter a score and create your own match timings, but that’s a different conversation.
