Spinning Robot

Hello! While my team was driving our robot, our robot started spinning, even though we did not press any buttons on the controller. Why is this happening, and how can I fix this? Thank you.

that happens a lot to me. i believe it is just a bug. turn your brain off and on again and you should be good

Try calibrating your controller or checking for joycon drift.

This could be another case of drift stick. This happens without the need for driving your robot, the joystick will make you move slightly. Is it just on one side, and is it really slow? If so, this is a likely answer.

If what @RoboticsEli said is true, try reprogramming your controller so small values of the stick (ex. ±5) doesn’t activate the motor. I did a simmalar edit to make the robot go full speed forward even when the axisA/axisD is 90 (100 is the normal full power)
