Personally, I use Onshape but a lot of teams use LD CAD which has a specific inbuilt VEX software. For some people, LD CAD is easier because it doesn’t require using any mates and is quite similar to building with lego. Onshape is a bit more complicated but it is still a good software.

Me and my team and all the others at my school all use Onshape, there is a tutorial for how to get all the vex parts on Onshape’s YouTube channel.

I’d think that onshape is like Legos as well. Just search for a part and then drag and drop.

onshape, or you can try protobot if you have a windows computer available

I use Protobot Rebuilt because it’s only used for VEX V5, and it’s got a lot of features that makes CADding really easy.
