How much teams are able to get in to state? We might be cooked if their are 100 teams going to state.
Generally depends on the state you are in. But you’re never going to have 100 teams in states. Big states are split up into regions. Generally, your local worlds qualifier will have 30 - 45 teams
Indiana IQ (ES and MS) have 100 teams each.
I think at some point they said they wanted it to be 30% of registered teams, but I’m not 100% sure where that number is at this point. It would be nice if there was enough room for every tournament to have at least design as a qualifier, IMHO. Ca n you imagine willing design and not going to states? BRUTAL
I’m in Wisconsin. I hope their won’t be that much teams.
Did you guys get in to state.
48 for MS and 36 for ES. My team(5020C) made it to state
my team also made it to state, we’re situated in TN
For the Nebraska State Championships Elementary has 25 spots and Middle School has 32.
Look your event regional championship (also known as “state”) on RobotEvents. The ERC numbers vary from region to region and RobotEvents is the definitive answer. If it’s not posted yet, you could look at last year’s ERC for your region to get an idea but that number may change for this year’s event.
