I felt the post in the above thread was relevant to this discussion as it relates to the allowable voltage the chips will tolerate.
So, our testing was able to generate over 5KV in 15 seconds (at which we stopped the test). So it seems reasonable that a bot could generate over 16KV of charge, especially if not grounded properly.
