I was recently gifted 12 VIQ V1 brains. Sadly some bright spark of a parent followed the idea of using mag connectors for the USB port, but decided that gluing them in was the way to go.
These brains have 2.0.12 and newer code on them. All ports work, but there are no radios. So if using the default driver is your jam, these may work for you.
One or two fit in the small USP box for $10. All of them fit in the big box for $20.

I believe Vex has a brain/controller repair service, in which case you may be able to send them over to them to fix the stuck usb port. Alterativeley, you could contact Crescent Elementary school in southern California. When I worked as a coach for them, their abundance of the extra radio cards was astounding to me, so I feel they would be able to get them into a rough working condition. I no longer work with them as I have moved out of California, but shooting them an Email couldnt hurt.
Thanks for the lead, my big goal is to start cleaning out thinks that we don’t need anymore. I have about 8 V1 and v2 brains now. These are surplus and I want them to go.
