My thoughts are that we might get a shooting game or a water game related game.
The water game Idea came from my team doing a dive on the 2026-2027 game name reveal video
I don’t think it will be shooting game ever, Vex just really likes trolling. Unless you mean a water themed game, then I could see that. They always put water symbols in the V5 game teasers anyways.
I half way agree on that because in the trailer it showed (possibly) the vex IQ hero bots in a game of space invaders which require shooting
My team has been theory-crafting since our State Championship.
Their idea (adjusted based on the name reveal video) is soccer ball-ish elements that you have to either throw up to a higher level OR climb up stairs to the level to score in goals.
They are REALLY wanting to build a catapult bot, so fingers heavy crossed for at least shooting being an option.
I think it will be either a shooting game(because of the name reveal), or it can be another elevation type game because the name literally said “Level Up”.
Yes I 100% agree when some people in my school started to dissect the game name reveal we found the L1-L4 which could hint at levels
im thinking of a game like bank shot but with a bunch of goals in a row and like front row small mid row mid size and back row tall with rapid relay loading
I just hope that its not gonna be fully pneumatics based like this year with 180 mechs its just a disadvantage for teams that don’t have them*. But I’m thinking of vertical levels to put scoring objects in so lets see.

11x20x15 at start, and you can expand horizontally up to a length of 24. You cannot expand sideways(width. You can also expand vertically without any limits.
Robots are usual sizes.
11" wide, 15" high, 20" long.
Can expand up to 24" long, unlimited height, stay at 11" wide.
It could be if a team wanted it to be. One of the ideas one of my teams came up with today is a catapult.

Horizontal size: begin in 11 inch x 20 inch configuration, can expand up to 11 inch x 24 inch.
Vertical size: begin 15 inch high, unlimitted expansion after the match starts.
