That was throwing matches in pool play (qualifications for us) to reach a lower seed as the 4th seed wouldn’t have to play the best team that had a little trouble and ended up 2nd seed. The best analogy to this is what we’re seeing with low-ranked potential first picks throwing matches so that they can become high-ranked second picks.
