My VEX league would like to purchase some new computers for running Tournament Manager at competitions. We are willing to spend about $500 per laptop. If anyone has recommendations that would be very appreciated.

Any computer would work. All you nee to be able to do is connect to the competition brain, or a brain with the fc control program on it, and have a server running on it. I have used a surface and it worled perfectly. To score and control ot once it is setup is a mobile device that is on the same network and authorized to the server to control it. Hope this helps!

Buy a refurbished laptop from some place in the $250 price range, that way you can get 2 so you have a backup. TM is not that CPU or IO intensive, my fleet of TM computers are pushing 8 years at this point.
