Our VEX team uses a conveyor type robot, but we have some trouble at the top. When the block comes out for the long goal, it sort of flies up and lands into the goal instead of shooting straight into it. We were thinking of using a hood or a rubber band wheel. We may use both, but I wanted to get some pointers before committing to a design first.
Um… This is the VEX IQ general discussion.
The hood would be better, since a rubber band roller, while it works, might be out of size, and can not push the blocks in by ramming like a hood does. The hood is also less weight, and more common.
