The VEX Robotics Virtual World Celebration on April 25 will celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of all teams from the VEX IQ Challenge Squared Away and VEX Robotics Competition Tower Takeover season. Let’s keep the spirit of competition alive with a Fantasy Robotics Tournament!

Fantasy Robotics Tournament - Using past match results of all 2020 VEX Worlds Qualified* teams, the VEX IQ Challenge Squared Away and VEX Robotics Competition Tower Takeover World Championships will be simulated. This tournament is just for FUN and no action is needed on any teams’ part except to follow along with our updates and tune into the event on April 25 to celebrate the season!

All teams that qualified for the 2020 VEX Robotics World Championship are included in the simulated Fantasy Robotics Tournament with the winners of the tournament recognized during our VEX Virtual Worlds Celebration. Click here to see the teams that qualified, as well as qualification criteria. Teams are further placed into Divisions on Thursday, April 9th.

  • This is just for FUN, and is a simulated Tournament
  • No action is required - just WATCH LIVE!
  • There is no registration fee
  • Please follow social distancing guidance - DO NOT get your team together physically to watch the celebration.
  • VIRTUAL VIEWING PARTIES encouraged

Because Virtual World Championship Celebration is happening on the same date, I need the community to decide on what to do with the Community-Made Virtual Worlds:

  • I want Community-made Roblox Virtual Worlds to be cancelled
  • I want Community-made Roblox Virtual Worlds to continue on the date of April 25th
  • I want Community-made Roblox Virtual Worlds to be on another date

I was always wondering; if V5 was so great, why isn’t there a V5 2?

In all honesty, I think it will have something to do with the autonomous demonstration that was supposed to happen. Probably the LIDAR sensor gets announced?

Possibly LiDAR, as that is what GOAT/WPI1 used for their fully autonomous robot.
