V5 Clinic App Insight Needed!

Hey everyone! I’m developing an app called V5 Clinic, designed to help VEX V5 teams diagnose and troubleshoot robot issues, and I’d love to get some feedback from the community!

Currently, it has six diagnostic pathways for common problems: motors not responding, drivetrain drifting, intake jamming, brain disconnecting, sensor reading issues, and mechanisms running too slowly. Each pathway has five ordered troubleshooting checks. It also includes a 21 port smartport scanner that flags missing or unconfigured devices, a fault-ranking system that suggests potential causes and next steps, and a follow-up scheduling system.

One of the main features is patient records. Teams can register their robots as patients and keep a history of their diagnoses, troubleshooting findings, recommended fixes like prescriptions, Smartport scans, and follow-up recommendations. This makes it easier to revisit previous issues and track a robot’s troubleshooting history over time.

Some features I’m considering adding include motor performance diagnostics, sensor testing tools, maintenance schedules, pre-match readiness checklists, exportable diagnostic reports, and tools for tracking recurring problems to see whether previous repairs worked.

I’d really appreciate your feedback! What features would you find genuinely useful? Are there any common VEX V5 problems you’d want the app to help diagnose, oor any other features you think I should add?
