Vex AI Intel camera low fps

Hello,
I downloaded the AI code for the 2023-2024 VAIRC and uploaded it to my robot. My robot has all of the components for AI and the dashboard is working wonderfully. However, the intel camera fps is extremely low. The camera has maxed out at 6-8 fps. I am currently running the getObject(): command and when the robot is turning to find a ball it detects one but overshoots it. I believe this is because the camera is so delayed that once it detects the ball, the robot isn’t in that position anymore so it stops the robot facing the wrong direction. Since I am using the dashboard, would shutting down the server on the jetson help the camera lag? I’m just wondering what is the optimal camera fps?
