Hi, one the VEX AI rules, it says we can use any material, including, aluminum, bronze, plastic, etc. Does this included lasered wood? Thanks!

It doesn’t even say “any material”, it just says “an unlimited amount” of certain materials. I won’t say “no”, since I don’t know if wood is technically a composite material.

i dont see why they’d let you use carbon fiber and steel but not wood, aside from being fire hazard i guess lmao

I asked about wood on the VEXU Q&A earlier this week. No answer yet.
The VEXU Q&A doesn’t apply to VAIC, but <VUR3> and <AIR3> are worded exactly the same, so it seems reasonable to conclude that the GDC would make the same ruling if asked with regard to VAIC.
