Vex Go Electromagnet Not Working

Hi,

Need help! My VexGo Electromagnet doesn’t work.

Always attached with/without connection to brain as default as said in other forum topics however when connected and device setup with the magnet any any one of the ports, it doesn’t drop, which leads me to believe also doesn’t boost.

Have tried example files for magnet control and changed the device setup to custom as well as codebase but nothing seems to work.

Have attached the magnet alone in just one port as well as tried other setups in competition codebase 2.0 setup with motors and eye and arm.
Moves and does every action other than magnet drop.

The firmware says it’s already up to date in the classroom app.

Help, anyone?

If a recent purchase then perhaps call vex support if you think it’s defective.

Has it ever worked ?

Will call on Monday but wanted to check if anyone has faced a similar problem and found a solution.

I am having the same issue. Drop and set power codes do not seem to affect the electromagnet.
