Hello everybody, I have an idea for my robot, but I can’t figure our how to get it to work. My robot is a rachet catapult robot. It is a two motor robot, and uses a 2 motor rachet catapult. This leaves me with only two motors. I want to make a claw to score on level 4, so I am thinking with these last motors I can make a 2 bar claw to score on level 4. But because I don’t have pneumatics, I can’t create a mechanism to share the claw to score on level 4 and act as a intake for the catapult. If yalls got any ideas plz let me know I’m really stuck.
You can try and gain back a motor somewhere. Probably not drivetrain, so that leaves ratchet or arm. Try playing around with gearing to increase torque. Use Flop hero bot arm as inspiration/tutorial on compound gearing. Apply that learning to your arm, or ratchet, maybe both? Experiment and see what might or might not work.

Btw I might know you irl (code word “with a click of a button”). But I don’t want this post to get disapproved, so I will suggest some things to keep it relevant. If I was making that, I would just make the ratchet mech one motor, because that’s what I’m doing, and coding it to 100% velocity would make it work. If that doesn’t work, I suggest just doing a gear ratio on the arm
