You will have an easier time, possible better luck, asking other coaches/organizations in the VEX IQ World Coaches Association facebook group. In the Vexforum, you can’t DM or share emails.

We are not selling them, but one of our team members was able to purchase one off Facebook marketplace. You can also do it the normal way, by just buying it off the vex website;

The best thing to do is save up for one or get it for his birthday or Christmas but they usually cost around $340 but some schools might have robotics program with vex and they provide the field and everything you would need to get competition ready like my team 41843 N The Juggernauts are going to Worlds in 2 weeks its really fun and with a school team he can have friends to talk with in his team.
