Last year, my notebook was pretty bad compared to award winning teams. This year, I really want to have a good notebook. What are some tips for a better notebook(I already read the V5 post and the rubric)

The thing that made the biggest difference for my team is making the engineering design process VERY CLEAR to the judges. On our pages this year we use color coding, and include the stage in the title.

Hey @5020_Offical ,

the obvious response would be to use the search bar/spend time reading through forum posts and checking out notebooks from teams like 515R, 8926W, or Gremlin. Seeing what award-winning notebooks actually look like makes it way easier to understand what judges are looking for

Also, if you already know your notebook wasn’t as strong as others last season, ask yourself why. Was it missing detail? EDP? Organization? Figuring out your weak points is probably the fastest way to improve.

And honestly, once you’ve read all the notebook posts and gone through the rubric, there’s not much left besides… actually notebooking :') with moa coming up, now’s the perfect time to start
