What’s the drivetrain speed and weight? My drivetrain is 5:2 but the robot is ~11 lbs. not light

My drivetrain has a 48:24(2:1) and 2 motors. our intake is 40:8(5:1) and 3 motors. our choo-choo is 24:36(2:3) and 1 motor. We also use 1 pneumatic air tank, 1 solenoid, 1 air pump, and 2 small pistons.

you can’t use a raw video, but GIFs work and a free converter can be found. I won’t specify the one I use because it could be considered advertising.

That’s a fast robot…

yeah all teams should use a gear ratio for their drivetrain, idk why some dont, its easy to build and its efficient

Well, if you gear it the wrong way, then you can be either too slow, and have lots of torque, or be too fast and not go anywhere because there isn’t enough torque. Be mindful and make sure you do it the right way.

But in IQ, changing the gear ratio for the drivetrain is really easy. @76782AHighVoltage’s point still stands

I’m not saying either it’s easy nor hard!
