Having an issue with the Purple Slapshot Element. Before we start, YES, we did check to ensure it was assembled correctly. It is! However, the disks will not squeeze through black standoffs that contain the disks on the platform. If the dispenser is not full, then the disks elevate as the ticker arm cycles through. Even worse, when the dispenser is full, and the disks are prevented from elevating, the mechanism jams due to it not having the torque necessary to push the disk through the standoffs. Again, assume I am correct and that all pieces have been assembled as instructed. Is anyone else seeing this? What do I do to fix it?
Good morning @CentralTeacher and happy Friday! Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing problems with the VIQC Slapshot Purple Dispenser. The direction the discs should be launched is shown in the image below.
Attached is a link to a Google Drive video showing proper dispensing of the disks. Note the ending of the video, I spun the wheel in the opposite direction, which moves the ticker arm toward the standoffs. The same thing which you described in your post, “the disks elevate as the ticker arm cycles through” appears, which is why I believe this was the problem. Please be sure the housing of the discs is in the correct orientation. Let me know if this solves your issue please, and if there is anything else I can help with!
