Hi there. I use VEX IQ in my classroom. My computers will be reimaged (completely erased and reinstalled) and I need to give the tech department a list of software I want to be installed on my classroom computers (Mac minis). What software do you recommend I have them install for my VEX IQs? I have plenty of space on my Macs, and I would like to not have to install anything more for a year or so, since it takes the IT department so long to add software in the middle of the school year

what else??? Is there software that helps with firmware updates?

If you’re going to be dealing with Gen 1 brains, you’ll want Vex OS Update tool as well, in case any more updates for Gen 1 come out.

Adding Cading software’s would help kids to design before building.

Is that the same as VEXosUtility?

Yes, should be. I don’t have a Mac, so making the assumption it’s named the same there.
