This is my first time doing a design for VEX, and currently I’m designing a 24" climber bot for vex u, are there things i should keep in mind with it? i plan on going light with the design execution but unsure of how to do that. I’m thinking 48:36, 6 wheels on the gears with blue carts. I’m doing tank drive with probably 6 motors but still a little unsure on that front. All help would be greatly appreciated.
i guessing that you are using 2.75in wheels. if i were you i would do an 8m drive since there is no motor limit and if you are planning on using a PTO to take power from the drive to give you alot of climbing power by repourposing those 8 motos. climbing mechs are really tricky especially this year. i would take alot of inspo from 2654e’s desighn and take a good look at some of hte FRC hangs
