To make it legal, you could use rubber bands instead of the slip mat like in 2616J’s turning point reveal: 2616J Mid-Season Reveal
The vrc intake rollers could be replaced with tank tread with flaps. You also have 2 more motors to use for hanging, and I bet you could do something similar to how some change up teams released their hood, with a ratchet off of the flywheel or indexer to retract it. Looks neat though!
I also wonder if, due to the squishy nature of the balls, tread would work better than rubber band rollers.
