We have switched to visual studio code to develop pros recently, and have been enjoying the IDE much more than default atom editor. But we have been missing the quick action button in pros, so I decided to do some digging and found the following solutions and work quite well for us.
- Create a tasks.json in your .vscode directory. Sample file could be get from Visual Studio Code tasks.json for pros · GitHub
- Install tasks plugin for vscode. Tasks - Visual Studio Marketplace
You will get 3 buttons in vscode status bar. You can also play around the colors and style to fit your needs, our buttons look like this.
