Swish needs a Quad 2X wide, 2x2 corner connector to be assembled. I have some that are orange, I’m thinking they came from a game, but can’t place the year.
Can any of you help me out where these came from?

Could you provide a photo of the piece? That would be hugely helpful in trying to identify it.
As long as the base pieces are the same, you should be fine with using the piece on Swish. As a side note, you can check if you can find the piece on the vex website if you want to double check.
Not really sure what you are trying to add here. For years the field elements have been made out of VEXIQ parts and they are legal parts to build with. Game elements like disks, balls, rings, etc. never make the legal list.
This isn’t what I was asking. Imagine that you have all the field elements from all the games since the first day. Imagine all of them neatly stored in bags, labeled to contents, etc. Now do the same with all of the kits that VEX has sold across the years.
Now pick an odd part , say a Quad 2X wide, 2x2 corner connector in orange. I don’t want to know if it’s legal, I want to know where it came from. @Alex3D nailed where it came from. I can now go back to the teams that I help and get them to where they can find theirs. (Some people keep parts by game so they can go back and play it again).
VEX doesn’t publish a cross reference list, just a list of all the parts that have been made.
