What ideas to add stuff on herobot

Any Ideas how could we add a slingshot without exceeding 18x18x18? What else should we add?

If you would want to add something, you should get rid of some stuff depending on what you want. If you want to add a slingshot, you should make a 4m drive and a different sucking-lift thing.

You should get rid of the lift and change it to a rubber band or flex wheel intake for your robot to get a good grip on tri-balls.

Don’t ask us for ideas or for how to build your robot, as this is kinda borderline on this. However, to answer your question, @DavidW built a good slingshot and posted a lot of pics in there.

You can search youtube for robot reveals and robot explanations. A lot of high school teams love to show what they've built via youtube.

This depends on what the current game-stage is in your region. If ppl in your region are match loading a lot, I would add a flywheel instead of a slingshot/cata as your match loader. This is what one of our schools teams is doing. It is pretty simple to add into the existing framework of the he robot as you replace the arm thingy with a flywheel. There are lots of tutorials on YT of how to build a flywheel. However, if ppl in your region have moved on from both alliances match loading, i would follow the advice of @99976D abt the rubber band/flexwheel intake. Personally i would recommend a flex wheel intake as you don’t run the risk of entanglement. As always don’t follow ppl on vex forums advice to a T, make your robot your own and innovate however you like!
