We are a new team and are thinking of doing a hybrid. We were wondering what is the best(small) catapult design? Please help and include pictures.

Can you please define what you mean by hybrid?
Every year, hybrid means a few different things to different teams.
SamuelC (7842D) by hybrid I mean a robot with a catapult and a dumper.
We use a slip gear catapult
I would look at 8059’s reveal. I believe they did a slip gear.
I normally would not suggest a new team to do a catapult… or even a hybrid.
Think it is always better to perfect your basic dumper before moving on to more complex design.

A choo-choo design is the most popular with FIRST teams, but I would not recommend it for new team.
