What is the worst advice you could give?

Build a 4 bar but dont count holes or use the same size metal it will help you very much when you go to a competition.

What does “count holes” mean?

Count the holes in the metal to make sure that the metal is exactly the same so its parallel or whatever.

Edit: I’m not sure that’s what is called because I cant build a 4 bar for crap.

So u mean don’t pay attention to geometry at anything.

Use duct tape on every inch of your robot. It is very competition legal

that’s a pretty noice looking 4-bar

Or you can just say “But it’s the meta!”

Make sure to 3D print all ur metal. It’s a lot lighter and totally legal

You get 20 bonus points if your robot leaves the playing field.

It would be interesting if someone did go ahead and 3D print replicas of vex metal. It’d probably take a while to print enough for a robot though

It depends on your printer and how many of them you have. We could probably crank out a whole robot in 1 day if we maximized our print beds. It would definitely be faster than vex shipping :upside_down_face:
