Same. I don’t see why you wouldn’t use them. You would want every screw on your robot to be tight, and stay tight.
I despise using hex nuts.

Use the red pegs. They are way stronger and will hold your robot together easily. And whenever you connect a motor, use at MOST 2 red pegs to connect it to the bot.

Take your hair down when you use the dremel and dangle your hair over the piece you’re cutting. Or better yet, give yourself a haircut at meetings with the dremel (Link tried to cut my hair! Jk lol) Or EVEN BETTER, bring the dremel at comps so you can cut the winners hair.
I find angle grinders work better.
Don’t worry about making a notebook or doing skills. These don’t really do anything and just distract you from the actual competition
Arrive at a tournament significantly over the size limit, spend the next 2 hours frantically dremeling and sawing to fit the robot in size while not using proper protective gear.
We were in a room with a team who did this. They also shattered a HS 60 tooth gear by trying to lift their all steel tray.

zipties they work way better than screws and make sure to use only 1 screw per motor, if that is needed
Forgot write your auton on the car or ever better on the plane ride to worlds or U.S. Open it works far better and who needs to test it work way better if you just go for it in the moment.
