look back through old posts lol
(actually good job for spotting that i forgot about that)
don’t add any bracing to your lift, it adds unnecessary weight to the robot
make sure you power it 1:3 600 it’s gonna zoom
it helps especially when ur driving to the competition to drag them behinfd the car
Secure all of your wires with gorilla tape.
LiPos are nonfunctional decorations so be sure to zip tie as many as possible to the external frame of your robot.
Clawbots are always the meta. Pushbots are a close second.
Pinning someone in a game is a good way to get extra points.
This isn’t wrong? come on m8 have u even done vex.
yeah when the ref starts counting he is counting the amount of points you are getting per second from pinning the opponent
That’s how it works in frc
Don’t use the joysticks to control your drive. Use the buttons and program them so you use one button that controls all of them and just make 3 differnt shift keys to toggle through each on.
Actually, you can make a really good robot with that. The team who won our last tournament had an intake bot with green tank treads.
Make a turret with 720 degrees of motion on a swerve drive, and when you push the button, the turret moves one degree in the specified direction. This helps with precision control.
My FRC team actually did this in 2012.
Ok. Not to be rude, but in most cases, that reflects poorly on the rest of the robots.
You’d have some buff fingers
Bruh, you need to have one green tread. Just like one green wheel, and 1 red gear. It adds personality
Not really, their robot was really well built and there were many really good robots at the tournament. They weren’t carried, and they won on their own merit.
Can we get DRow to host meme review? Kinda out of topic but still pretty cool
Use the skinny drivetrain gears for lifts. Just because they are for drivetrains doesn’t mean you can’t use them for lifts.
Also, gear up your gears so that the big gear drives the small gear so your lift moves faster and is therefore stronger
